Bardstown 74 John Hardin 66

Interesting. Tigers break a three-game skid v. the Bulldogs. Anybody got any details?

Tigers led by 15 in the first half and eight in the fourth quarter, but the Bulldogs rallied to pull within 1. They could never make it into the lead, however, and the Tigers pulled away late.

Keanu Young had 20 to lead the Tigers, and LJ Cowherd had 19 points/8 assists and Quindon Litsey added 16 points. Seivon Schooling posted 10 points and 10 boards.

These teams have a tendency toward meeting in the region tourney, having done so each of the past three years.

John's dynamic duo of Patrick Anderson and Keon Williams accounted for 41 points between them.

Not surprised at this result this early in the season. Three of JH's starters were football players and I think they have been together on this team for about 10 days. On top of this, their starting PG Matt Miller has been injured and this was his first game of the year. Bardstown is always good and will be there in the end. John will get better but they will have some early season stumbles. I think the 5th region is loaded this year and I can see these two teams along with Elizabethtown being there in the end competing for the region title.
