I think Meade and Butler are playing for the runner-up trophy. That said the only up I give Meade Friday night is playing at home. I personally see an all Louisville final coming again this year.

They were good.

Meade has the #2 defense in the state when adjusted for strength of schedule.

Defense is very solid. But as Meade pride said teams with a lot of speed can be a problem for us. Male and John Hardin were our only 2 losses. They have been able to control the line of scrimmage in most games and play a very physical brand of football. Nothing fancy on either side of the ball. The QB does a good job of hiding the ball and runs it pretty well. When teams start loading up the box they will throw a little dump pass to Embry the TE. Its kind of running back by committee but the Shacklett kid has been breaking some long runs. On defense it's just a true team effort with a very disciplined bunch that cover their responsibilities very well.
