mstiger Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 How come Boyd of CALDWELL CO isnt getting any attention? I saw the highlghts of the MAYFIELD game and Boyd looked very good/fast. Does he have any offers?
Voice of Reason Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 I made a comment about him in the Mayfield Caldwell Co. game previews and game thread. He is a very good back and extremely fast. I think he is just a junior. He should be getting a lot more talk that what I have heard. Even the Caldwell Co. posters aren't talking about him.

PtownDude Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 College coaches are looking at Jaylen Boyd as a DB from what I can tell. Some of the kids on the team say he is the best DB on the team, but Caldwell obviously needs him at RB and they aren't real keen on playing him both ways. He has good speed, hits the hole well and is elusive in the open field. I think most colleges just don't think he's big enough to play RB, at least at an FBS school. I do think he'll eventually start getting offers. With so many people watching Sindelar, the other kids on Caldwell's team certainly have a nice stage to show what they can do as well.
