Frances Bavier
We are all entitled to our opinions, and for my money, I'm with UKCatsFan in regards to Wilcox. From the first time I saw him playing sports (he was a 9 year old playing baseball in the Ashland American Little League), I have been extremely impressed with his work ethic and his understanding of whatever game he is playing. I would put him and Alex Barker from Fairview in the same boat. Both of these young men get the absolute most from the gifts that they were born with. To my knowledge, Barker hasn't had to overcome the setbacks that Wilcox has faced, but both of them are candidates for "Poster Boy" status when it comes to unrelenting effort. AshlandTomcat41
Ashland will be there. Nobody seems to give them the respect they deserve. Their record is very misleading, they have played a horrendous schedule this year. I think they are just starting to mold as a team. They did not have Wilcox until the AIT and it takes a little while to get going. Once he gets going, WATCH OUT. This kid can light it up. He has the ability to score with anybody in the area. I don't think anyone really knows the severity of his back injury. It was a very serious injury that he suffered during the season last year, and he continued to play through pain all of last year and did not say anything to anybody until after the season ended. He worked his butt off in the gym to make sure his shot didn't suffer and at the same time was going through rigorous therapy sessions for his back while at the same time going to private baseball instruction. Wow, if that's not determination and dedication I don't know what is. Look for Wilcox and the rest of the Tomcats come regionals, they'll be right there. Take it to the bank. :thumb:

Uk Fan
Yeah, I would say that as well. From the 61st I would say Rowan and Meniffee. I'm gonna say Fleming and Bath. Fleming has proven to Rowan that they can beat them and with a home court advantage, it could be a tough one for Rowan to pull out. After Bath gaining a victory over Montgomery, it makes hard to go against them ( though i haven't much knowledge about Menifee).

I dont think the prediction is that bold. Fairview has played as consistently good as anyone in the region, just my gut feeling....
