CAK 7

2nd Qtr

14-14.. Belfry throws INT.. CAK makes an amazing catch for TD

How good is this team ATL?

Belfry drove deep into CAK territory then went penalty crazy ultimately culminating with an INT on 3rd and 18

How good is this team ATL?

Meh...

Belfry is playing a game the most banged up I have ever seen missing 3/5 of the DB's, both DE's, a starting DT, and their top two runners Hatfield and Johnson.. Pirates have moved the ball very well although CAK has made an adjustment. Defensively Belfry is playing very soft and CAK has an accurate QB and a pair of good WR's. CAK passes about 90% of the time. They look like your run of the mill NKY big school in terms of talent level. Think of NewCath when they were very pass happy or a pass happy Cooper/Ryle.

A healthy Belfry is dominating this game.

Around a 1:00 before half CAK goes for it on 4th and 1 and Belfry holds

Belfry commits three more procedural penalties and give up a pair of sacks and squander a chance for points before the Half

HALFTIME

Belfry 14

CAK 14

Thanks Cat.

Belfry Freshman Fletcher stripped fighting for extra yards

Belfry's defense holds CAK to a FG and they miss it

Still 14-14

Dropped pass on 3rd and 4... Pirates to punt. Pirates first punt of the game

CAK goes 3 and Out

Belfry 9 penalties, 6 of which are false starts

Big conversion on 3rd and 11 by Belfry to CAK24
