Randy Parker
Calloway with half of the Region's top 6 players, yet Graves gets the nod at #1. Do those of you who more closely follow the 1st agree with Graves heading this list?

Do those of you who more closely follow the 1st agree with Graves heading this list? It will be close. Graves has picked up a transfer from St. Mary. McCracken should be above St. Mary, they lost 2 returners due to transferring.

sweet16
Adams had surgery on ankle as well this summer. Calloway maybe slow out of the gate. Hunter has a chance to be the best in the region.

sweet16
What kind of game does he have? What are his strengths? 6'7 wing. He can really shoot the ball from 3 point range. Has good handles as well. Strength and defense are his weaknesses but that will come with maturity.

sweet16
How athletic is he? Scale 1-10 about a 7. Not fast laterally but gets up and down the floor and has good jumping ability.
Swishenator
These player rankings are MUCH more representative of 1st Region Basketball than the rankings I saw a couple of months ago. I might quibble with the order a little but this is pre-season and everyone has an opinion. Probably the most noticeable omission is Jake Williams from Graves. I would say he is at least number 10 if not higher. I keep hearing that Hunter from Calloway had a big summer so I am excited to watch. Hasn't quite gotten there in high school action yet although nearly averaged a double-double last year. The team rankings are interesting. I kind of think Calloway, Graves and McCracken should be 1, 1A and 1B but I understand McCracken has to prove it since they are a new school. St. Mary is going to be good but they have been weakened by graduation and transfers, especially inside. I still think McCracken will be the team to beat by the end of the season. They have inside depth and 4 very good guards including Sergio Vega as well as the three that are ranked. Will also be interesting to watch Calloway this season. They have a lot of talent and put it together at the end of last season to reach the Regional finals. The question is how do they handle expectations and manage individual goals with the team. Graves has 3 very good players left over from the Regional champs and will also be very good. And don't forget Marshall. Still have a deep well to pull from and a really good big guy in Rentfrow. Should be interesting.
Basketb
Until McCracken proves they are better than St. Mary then I have to agree with them. As for the player rankings, it appears as if they went straight from last years voting as you had said they should do earlier. I agree with that but also disagree with that. Doesn't matter, not a single game has been played yet. Only time will tell if the main 3 from MCHS can coexist.
