This will be the best team Belfry has played this season. Belfry already had some kids out with injuries and they lost several kids tonight to injuries, including 3 or 4 in the backfield. I don't know the extent of any of those injuries so I am not sure what to think just yet. I do know that Belfry still has a lot of work to do on defense and their starting safety was ejected during the game tonight. This coaching staff will hold out any kid until they are ready to go and won't rush them back. I'll reserve any thoughts of predictions until I get some more information about that.

CAK is the defending 3A State Champs in TN. For those familiar with the powerhouse Alcoa, they had to defeat them en route to their title last year.

CAK lost a good amount of players off that team and are 2-4 against a ridiculous schedule. Despite their record they are still one of the top teams in their class and have potential D-1 talent amongst their roster in the underclassmen ranks. Three of their 4 losses were close games including a 3 point loss to Knoxville Catholic who is a very stout team. Tennessee 3A is typically very strong because of the top tier teams who require other schools to play up to meet their standards.

If Belfry has everyone they can compete and win..but we already know that won't be the case without Cameron Johnson and X Willis. The question is now is about the nearly 7 other starters who were not playing at the end of last night including their top two RB's and their game changing WR. Belfry's starters need the reps against either the best or 2nd best team they will face, but Haywood typically will not play guys if there is any question in a non-district game. Depending on the injury status my prediction will range from a narrow Belfry win all the way to a CAK blowout.
