Tough loss tonight...Monroe faithful understand!

Very disappointed in the loss, no doubt this team will continue to get better but that doesn't take the sting away from loosing. A little disappointed in the play calling in the last series as well... I'm not sure how you keep the ball out of the guys hands that got you back in the game, and I also don't understand how you don't commit the defense to stopping the run with 3:30 left in the game?

Tanner Strode put his team on his back and fought his way back in. I am not sure I have ever seen one player come to life and and turn a game around.

I understand were you are coming from? The Strode kid played a hek of a game I even thought glasgows coaching has been off the last couple of games? The Trigg kid dominated the first half with 134 yards or so and the first 8 minutes of the second half i think we have two or three series and he doesnt even come in on offense and monroe comes storming back from a 2 touchdown lead to get all the momentum. The final drive for Monroe couldve been the nail in the coffin but i didnt understand why they went away from running Strode even the option play that they ran to get a first down on the same drive i thought would have been the right call? I give a big congrats to a young and talented Monroe team they will be a force if not next year in two years fine looking group of sophomores. Glasgow Has alot of work to do the rest of the season seems they are going backwards instead of forwards good luck rest of season.

Same to you... My thoughts on Glasgow was they look like the Glasgow of days past, fast, strong and athletic. But they don't play like the Glasgow of days past. I can see how a fundamentally sound team (Somerset) could give them fits, they're a little too one dimensional to have the athletes they have. One thing is for certain, they have the horses to make a good run if they figure it out.
