Who wins and why?

Caldwell by a lot. Ballards record is helped by lack of competition.

The two highest scoring 2A schools meet up on at Tiger Stadium in Princeton for Caldwell County's Homecoming game. Ballard Memorial comes in averaging 49.6 points a game, while The home-standing Tigers come in with an average of 50.8 PPG. The Bombers competition have been a tad bit less competitive than the Tigers' opponents. Ballard Memorial's opponent's records this year is 4-18, while the Tigers' have faced five teams with a record of 10-13, so far. IMHO, this will not bee much of a game. The Tigers' should have the clock running fairly early if they don't overlook the Bombers, and come out on offense the way they have the last few weeks.

My prediction:

Caldwell County 63

Ballard Memorial 14

My prediction:

Caldwell County 63

Ballard Memorial 14

Hard to score 63 with the running clock at 35 points now, unless you keep #1 Offense in after the clock starts running.

Caldwell has gone out of its way not to run the score up on anyone this season, including taking a knee at the Fort Campbell 1-yard line to end Saturday's game.

I think the score will probably be similar to last year, when Caldwell won 56-20 at Ballard.

Caldwell Co. 48-6.

Caldwell 56-14
