Final. It was a 12 point game at halftime, but Newport dominated the second half as the Panthers just fell apart.

The 4th and Newports speed killed them. Only six points, 0 from the starters in the 4th . Accually hung with them through the 3rd. Augusta had 17 points to Newports 20. Pretty sure my numbers are right.

 

Had to be the fastest team I've seen them play.

Another tough game Friday night as the Panthers take on rival Bracken for the third time this season. The first two games were close but maybe Augusta can pull one out this time.

 

Newport is a very athletic team, they could be a sleeper in the 9th Region.

they have had trouble playing together in big games and lost to the 9th favorite Holmes by about 20 last week...

If Augusta could put together a faster paced game like tonite, minus the turnovers they can beat Bracken. Also they can't stop playing in the 4th.

 

They can do it, they are about due.
