Somerset travels across town to take on Southwestern in the opener of the Don Marshall Bowl. Both teams are 0-2 and need a win very badly. Somerset has lost to 5A Pulaski County 42-13 and 3A Belfry 37-12. Southwestern comes in off of losses to Corbin 14-0 and Knox Cental 31-28 in overtime. Which team gets into the win column?

Somerset's run defense has been awful so far. Southwestern can run the football. If they do that and control the clock I think they win this one. I'll take Southwestern 21-14.

That had to hurt...I can't bring myself to do it.

It did, believe me.

I will make you two feel better. Somerset 35-21.

In horse racing terms Somerset has been outclassed racing in a pair of G1 Stakes Races so far

Tonight they step down in class to race in an Allowance Race and everything looks much different.
