With Randy Wofford moving over to take the boys job at Ludlow it now looks as though the Panthers will be in need of a new girls coach. It will be interesting to see what direction the school will go in. Anyone have any thoughts on who might be interested in this job?

With Coach Woffords daughter Tori on the team, my bet is they had things lined up before his decision to move to the boys side was announced. I'd look for Randy's wife vicky to be the new head coach. She has a lot of coaching experience, was his assistant last year, and would insure that his daughter and the program are left in good hands.

Ludlow likes to keep it in house. I'd be shocked if it was anyone but Vicki Wofford....

The Wofford's have made it quite the family thing over there. Likely both head varsity coaches and don't they have a couple daughters in the program and one coaching the middle school team?

There may also be another option. Blake Clary who was the JV Girls Coach at Conner until this year is now an assistant football coach at Ludlow.

Possibility?????

Is Adam Clary as the AD allowed to hire another Clary?

Not related to each other.

Sometimes a hire needs to be more than convenience and more than "Xs and Os" and "keeping it in the Ludlow family."

Will Coach Wofford inspire girls to come out? Does her style work today?

Ludlow seems to have about 10 girls coming out TOTAL. Do they even have enough for a frosh team?

Ludlow needs to hire someone who can rally the troops, build excitement, get girls to like playing, and will represent Ludlow well.

For those who are familiar with her (I am not) is that her?

I have heard reports that Vikki Wofford has been named the girls head coach at Ludlow. Can anyone confirm? If so I congratulate Coach Wofford and wish her the very best this upcoming season. Go Panthers!

Sounds like she will have her daughter on staff as well.

Done deal. According to the Ludlow KHSAA Page. Welcome Vikki.
