I few years ago I got some basketball instruction videos from Championship Productions.

They were hit and miss to say the least.

Has anyone used them or does anyone have suggestions on some that are good videos?

Coaching book: Practical Modern Basketball by John Wooden. Actually very insightful and lots of the lessons he gives still apply today. His pyramid of success, motivational tactics, and outlook on building a program through player development is great.

If you are coaching a feeder team, maybe speaking with some of the coaches (assistants and otherwise) at levels above you would be a good idea. I would think that if you were reasonable in requests, they'd be happy to take a small amount of time to have you implement some things they do, and it prepares your team for that next step once they move up.

What in particular are you looking for. I have dozens myself, some of which I like and some are just fair at best.

This one was always a favorite of mine.

O/T One of the best things you could do to prepare yourself for coaching is read coach Wooden's book. Coach W looked at himself as a teacher of life as well as basketball. Well worth the read and will probably change your perspective quite a bit on how to coach in more ways than you would think. It was a game changer for me.
