I cannot comprehend how he did not make All-State in football, maybe this will turn some heads. Nice kid, too . . .

Calhoun on the radio, he is cool as a cucumber. Paid tribute to his teammates and father.

Who else made the All Tournament team?

Frances

The radio guy read off the list very quickly. I kind of remember some names, but you would probably have to spit them out to me for me to see if its rings a bell. It was a pretty long list.

I was specifically interested in any of the Rose Hill girls. I would think that Sarah Queen would have made it, Laura Terry, and possibly Kala Faulkner.

I have no idea how any of them did (statistically speaking), but I was hoping that these girls got a little recognition for themselves and the 16th Region.

Who won the girls tourney?

Just to keep this thread at the top for a little while, Brian Calhoun had an amazing tournament. He shot 31-54 (that's over 57%), including 9-18 (50%) from behind the arc and 19-25 (76%) from the stripe, for 90 points on the tournament (22.5 ppg). He also grabbed 27 rebounds, and had a large number of assists and steals.

Brian has a younger brother, Vinny, who saw a little tick in the tournament, too. Maybe he and WenQuel Graves can get us back here next year . . .

Can anyone post who else was on the all tounament team? By the way, they couldn't have picked a better MVP for this award! Calhoun did an excellent job representing Bardstown. :thumb:

Ivey of OCath, Buechel and Kiernan from NCC, Troy Cooper From Brossart, Josh Mack from UHA are a few off the top of my head.
