The North Bullitt Eagles travel east to take on the Franklin County Flyers in a 5A clash. In this season opener for both teams are still trying to work out all the bugs.

 

The Eagles are coming off a 5-6 season in 2012. They ended their season with a first round playoff loss to 5A power John Hardin. With 11 seniors returning for the Eagles improvement on last year seems promising. As for this week’s contest Coach Newton’s concern is how he will slow down this Flyer offense?

 

The Flyers are coming off a 12-1 season. They ended their season in the Regional Final to Cooper. The Flyers coaching staff is excited with what they have returning. This year’s team is returning 19 seniors and will be depending on its offensive and defensive lines to be the leaders of this year’s team. The Flyers return several weapons in Key skilled positions.

Anxious to see how the kids do on Friday in FC, big shoes to fill for sure, I am anxious to see how the team has adjusted and any changes the coaches have made to the philosophy if any. I look for Franklin County to dominate North Bullit......surely they have not forgot how to win games over the summer.:sssh:

Excited to see the 2013 Flyers. They are still loaded with talent. Should continue to put up big numbers.
