I could live with that, except for the meds and some o/p procedures. Astronomical cost without insurance coverage.

 

This is probably true, but without insurance companies involved, as well as extra employees at doctors office's in charge of handling these types of things I would think cost would drop because of the competition it would create.

Common sense tells me that health care and big-business free-market capitalism isn't a good pairing.

Common sense tells me that government running anything isn't good for anyone.
