Cov Cath getting back to work

Featured Replies

With dead period ending next week, what will CCH coach Dave wirth be doing with the guys for the first few weeks of practice, What will he be doing to get their minds back to football. Does he still have the boys coming in for two a days and does he have the freshman doing anything different with the new coach, Ted Edgington. What will they be doing to concentrate on highlands. Te season is almost here.

I'm hearing word that CovCath is going to try and prove whoever said, "you can't just show up and play", wrong. They aren't going to practice until the week they play Highlands...when, it will be anything but, your typical week of practice.

Apparently the boosters at CovCath are flying the boys down to Parris Island for hardcore marine-combat training. Coach With and crew figure that if the boys can make it through that, then they will have what it takes to beat the 'birds.

Again...that's just what I'm hearing from a very credible source.

The CCH boosters never cease to amaze me. They will do whatever it takes to make their sports programs the best of the best. Hats off to them.

And if this strategy doesn't work? Whats next?

Just seems to me that if the head football coach agrees to this then what message is he sending to the kids?
