I'm about to make you wet your pants again. I have no idea how many DP's Phillips has hit into. I do know he's the team leader in RBI's & only 2 guys in the NL have driven in more runs than he has. I'm more than comfortable putting him in that situation.
July 3, 201313 yr I want to give them both a shot. There's no guarantee that happens, especially if you don't bunt Cozart. I'm fine with bunting in that situation, and I'm fine with having Cozart swing away. Bottomline, the #3 hitter in your lineup has to be able to put the ball in play there.
