Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Estill County? Remember, please be constructive.

Estill should be right in the mix for the district championship with everyone that they return. They did lose two starters but return just about everyone else from last year that won district. Estill has several games that will be boy/girl double headers. Lee, Owsley, Harrison, Model (Senior Night-Girls play Wolfe), Somerset (Jan. 6 Girls play Powell), and maybe some others. Estill will also be participating in Powell County's Red River Classic Dec. 26-28

All State, how's the PG that sit out last year with a knee injury? If he's healthy he could be a big help to the Engineers.

He looked fine back towards the end of basketball season last year. Running around on it, shooting jump shots. He says he's ready to get back. See how he does in football.

I would say Estill County is the pre-season favorite to win the 56th District.
