1. Mark Higgs- will be on top of EVERYONE's list

2. Miller

3. Moore- You can flip him or Miller at 2 or 3 in my opinion.

What years where these guys there? Higgs and Miller's names sound familiar.

Higgs was there in the early 80's. Played for UK and in the NFL for like 7-8 years. Was the Dolphins leading rusher twice in the early 90's. Rushing for 900+ yards. Miller played in the early 2000's. Then starred for Clemson before going to the NFL for 4-5 years. He played for the Jets and Raiders. He's one of the best kick returners in the history of the NFL to have only played for a short time....

Dickie Moore passed threw OHS in the 60's. I know a lot of folks don't care for OJ Simpson but in his autobiography he mentions Moore as being one of the best RB's in the country while they were in college.

Hard to argue with that list. Miller is the best that I ever got to see play there, but Higgs and Moore were before I was interested in football and before my time respectively. I still can't figure out why Powers did give the ball to Miller more than he did. If he got to the corner untouched, you could forget about catching him. Won title of NFL's fastest man a couple of years I do believe.

Owensboro's best all time player would be Rash Stadium...that place alone has been good for a 14 point lead for the Devils for the past 80 years! :irked:

Might be 1-3....LOL! Probably the most accurate statement. Just about like the Sportscenter was for KWC basketball. Hell the Celtics, Lakers, Bulls , or the Pitsons couldn't of beat KWC at the Sportscenter.

Same can be said for OHS. Alot of games were interesting in that stadium.

Catholic under Lawson or even Edge would love to have Miller during that era...been a 2-A championship at OC for sure.

Couldn't imagine the numbers a lot of athletes from Owensboro would/could have in that offensive system of Owensboro Catholics. Miller,Yantae Williams,Bo Smith,Ryan Bowling,Dradell Johnson,Yorell Shemwell,Miles Walker, etc would've done ridiculous things in that offense IMO.
