Who played for Hoops Dreams U17 this weekend? Same roster as the State tourney? Heard there was potentially some changes?

 

Sorry, I never got a chance to get to their gym to see them play just followed their scores.

Saw that HD 2016 won this tournament. Love the game of Dow and Williams. Any word on now those two played this weekend?

Derby state lost to NC state champ team heat 61-60 in. Finals. Cole vonHandorf gave Derby State a 60-59 lead with 5 seconds left on a layup , heat in bounded and brought up court and shot half court heave out of bounds. But a foul was called on the half court shot and heat hit 2 of 3 ft's to win.

 

Geez! Hate to hear of a loss in this fashion, but it is part of the game.

Williams & Goodin were the two most dominant for Hoop Dreams which they usually are cause they touch the ball the most but Dow played very well and played his role as well as Hager. Those four were the standouts but again their whole team played well this weekend I would say they are sad to see the month break coming up because they are clicking on all cylinders right now and would be a tough out for anyone in any tournament.

Was a tough loss, Derby State had a 4 point lead with 0:45 seconds to play but didn't put the game away. When you don't put games away you allow crazy things to happen at the end and that is what happened. Team Heat made the plays they needed to stay alive and allow themselves to be one point better on that day.
