Montgomery County pitcher Megan Arrasmith tossed a one-hitter and didn’t allow a Clark runner past second base. After giving up an infield single to Erin Carrus to open the second inning, Arrasmith retired 17 of the last 18 batters she faced. Arrasmith struck out five batters and walked just one in going the distance.

Clark senior pitcher Whitney Conkwright was equally impressive in her final outing. Conkwright allowed just three hits, fanned five batters and allowed just one walk. She retired 16 of 18 hitters after giving up a run-scoring double to Cheyenne Shepherd to open the second inning. Montgomery County leadoff hitter Ashton Stacy had two of the Lady Indians’ three hits in the contest.
