Anderson County 2013/2014

Featured Replies

Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Anderson County? Remember, please be constructive.

Anderson County only loses two seniors from last year's 34-2 team: Libby Pike and Kali Whiteside.

Two Seniors can be a lot. Did these Seniors start or play a significant role on last years team?

Anderson Co should be state title contenders next season. Simon Kenton can give them all they could handle in the region but AC will be very good even without their recent graduates.

One of the seniors started and played the post. Don't have official stats but probably 6 pts per game and 8 Rebs. The other senior played very little. Anderson will have 8-9 players, all of which are probably guards. They will run, shoot lights out and press full court. Should be very good again!

I look for Anderson to repeat as the 8th Region champs. They are experienced and have the depth that other teams don't have. I wouldn't be surprised if the win it all next year.

The 8th will be Anderson's to lose. They will return the two best players in the 8th, plus have one of the best coaches in Tony Kays.
