What does Monroe County need to do to improve in 2013? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

They lose a ton of very talented Sr.'s and will have some real holes to fill. The Wilson and Hodges kids were grown men out on the field against everyone they played and those types of kids don't just get replaced. I do think they had a large and talented JV team that if I remember correctly, they felt like was going to be another good group. Should still be a tough team to beat, but I would expect a little drop off from last year.

I believe the Falcons will have a successful season. Monroe may start the season out "unknown" but after a couple games, Petett will have the Falcons playing some hard nose Monroe County Football that we've seen the past years.

Yeah, they won region and made another apperance in the Semi-State. That is an exceptional accomplishment and I was not meaning Monroe County is unknown name to all. What I meant was - this is a brand new season. When you loose Chad Wilson, Jacob Hodges & several other seniors who have made an impact, you will have some inexperience at the first of the season. For example, replacing Wilson, Lincoln Arnett should be the front runner for the QB position. I'm not sure how much playing time he had in 12' but I do believe he started the Heath game in the playoffs and got some quality playing time.

 

Like I said, I believe at the first of the season the Falcons will be "unknown" then after a game or two they will be just fine.

The Falcons will be very young this season. They have a few returning players, but the Seniors where the impact last year. I love seeing the younger boys hitting the weights hard and putting tge time in they need to to try and fill some huge shoes that the

The Falcons are going to be running on some great momentum from last year. It has seemed to bring some of the schools very talented athletes to the feild. A couple 6'4" senior named Seth Ogg. This kid is fast and very strong for his father is a former body builder. He is about 215 and very nimble. Another verygood athlete is 6'6" 185 lb wide receiver named Joseph Bennett. Expect great things from this young man. Then we have 6' 195 lb tight end/qb in Chase Dodson. Awesome hands and very mobile and smooth....look for these kids to fillsome voids by the seniors..

 

All in All, Monroe will be just fine this hear! Lincohn Arnett has an arm that is a God gift to only a selected few!!!!! HE IS THE CHOSEN ONE!!!

That is correct. Big shoes for this young team to fill. Both backs are returning, new line except center, and most important sophmore QB...this team is more aggresive than last year though!
