Final. Not much defense from either team early in this one. Shelby Valley did a real good job of back cutting and beating the press.

 

Both teams shot well. J.D. VanHoose had the game winning put back off a rebound with 0.3 seconds remaining.

Looks like SV has rebounded well after the disapointing loss to Phelps and so has P'ville after the SF loss.

I wouldn't call a lucky put back with 0.3 seconds left by Paintsville on their home floor against a mediocre SV team "rebounding well". Paintsville should have won the All A region title and should have at least been in the finals at the WYMT tourney. The Tigers are not playing like a preseason regional favorite right now. At this point the 15th is WIDE OPEN for almost any team that gets hot!

Good point! The Tigers seem to be scoring enough points, but the defense seems to fail to hold sub-par teams from scoring more than they should!

Post play and bench play. This team has no bench and I don't see one being developed. Post play has been an issue on the offensive end as well as defensive end. This team has alot of talent on the perimeter and can still win the 15th. The 15th winner could have double digit losses or even be under .500. Crazy year in this region but a great one for the fans.

One thing that may have made this closer than it should have been might be that Bundy wasn't there tonight. Does anyone know where he was? Also, I can't explain it, but the defense for some reason just doesn't appear to be there. The boys are getting the fouls called on them, but.....I don't know. I think I will just stop there. I will say that our Offense has looked alot better the last couple of games. Maybe coach is just fixing things one at a time before tounament time. He is the one win almost 500 wins, not us. I agree this is a great season for the fans in the 15th. No team is dominant although several teams have played better than all the others in short stretches. The nice thing for the fans is that even if their team isn't favored, they can win on any given night. That is sooooo cool!
