8-41 in one half is atrocious.

 

41 shots in the half sounds like a lot to me in 16 minutes of action noting that any shot where there was a foul would not count into the total.

Camels were up 3 at half.

 

CCH then outscored them 24-6 in the 3rd qtr. Ballgame.

Wow--CCH's shooting stats stunk. Did they just have an off night, or did Campbell play some "D"??

 

A bunch of offensive rebounds and Campbell Countys' shooting the ball within about 10 seconds factored into the large shot numbers. They couldn't buy a basket in the 1st half though.

Campbell played some good basketball in the 1st half, but just went cold in the 3rd quarter. Ryan Eten did have a good game and he keeps on improving. He will be helping the Camels get some more boards come district time.

I thought the same. I'm assuming the 41 shots was a stat off of the radio broadcast?

 

Interestingly enough, they said Holmes had about 35 shots in the 1st half of the Holmes / CCH game.
