June 5, 201313 yr It's my understanding the diocese has prevented coaches from being hired for not having an annulment before they re-married. My husband's ex-wife is a teacher within the Diocese. If she were to re-marry without getting an annulment, she would be fired according to her. She is a great teacher and has been there a long time. It's sad that she would have to choose between her job there and any future matrimony as there is no basis for an annulment from her first marriage. I understand the Church's stance on some things; others baffle me.
