Brossart 2 Colerain (OH) 1

Featured Replies

Mustangs get back to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Cincinnati big school, Colerain.

Nate Verst was the starter and winner.

Congrats to BB.......I'm rooting for any NKY team that crosses the state line or travels south of Park Hills......If you know what I mean.

Good win for the Mustangs.

Heard an interesting stat yesterday after church. When Brossart scores runs they win, when they get shutout they lose. They are 3-5 after Being shutout 5 times this year.

How has Norton been hitting since they are not scoring any runs?

Not sure, couldn't find anything on the website either. I'll ask around on Sunday. My guess is they may be pitching around him?

FYI the note about scoring means winning was blown yesterday as it looks like they lost 5-3. Norton's name was not listed in the paper as a leading hitter.

That will be a problem this year since brossart doesn't have much, has to be frustrating for a 16 yr old to be pitched around. Guys pitch to him and if he makes the MLB you can say he hit a HR off of you lol.

Congrats on the big win Mustangs! That's three wins across the river for NKY this year so far!
