May 26, 201313 yr It's getting ugly in the Oakland Softball Natural Ash Pine (OSNAP) division. Tommy Johnson's girlfriend was caught sleeping with "Long" John Thompson of Temescal Gold. Long story short Tommy found out and went berserk and let's just say that Tommy is now doing 5 to 10 and John dropped his nickname.
April 5, 201412 yr An update from Twitter. Wanda's House of Style is petitioning the OSNAP board of control to break the league up into divisions based on male population of the neighborhoods. Never been done before. Many in the Bay area say the OSNAP board will NOT break them up. The common response is "It's all about the lettuce."
April 6, 201412 yr Some controversy. Oakland Methodist was scheduled to play Park Chapel AME at 5:00 on Sunday evening. Somehow Oakland Methodist got the league commissioner to change the game. Something about them having a bridge tournament to play in that evening. Commissioner went ahead and set it for 1:00 on Sunday afternoon. Zero chance in heck any AME church can make a 1:00 game on a Sunday afternoon. They're only 2 hours in to their service at that point. Just getting rolling. They had to forfeit. They're not happy. Pastor Gaines has let it be known to Minister Bruce Bach that he will pray for his soul for the shenanigans.
