My point is that roberts left scott and went to sk for lame reasons i could care less about wins and losses i like loyalty if scott only wins 2 games a year i hope its against sk. Don't care about beechwood loss those kids are going to beat alot of people in the near future, sorry for the sensitivity coach roberts fans.:lol2:

 

Troy was at Scott for a long time and did a lot to help build the program. I didn't like the way he left either, but his reasons were valid....he basically lives in SK's backyard, and it was an opportunity for him to move to a bigger program (enrollment wise) and to be able to work and coach really close to home. People leave jobs for that reason all the time. This current bunch of seniors at Scott may still hold a little resentment, but as a Scott fan and supporter (my kids go/will go there), I'm way over Troy leaving. If he had left for any other larger school not in the area, I don't think anyone would have been nearly as upset.

Saw a guy wearing a t shirt the other day that read "I still hate Laettner". Guess grudges die slow around here. I dont know Troy Roberts or Jeff Trame, but I hear both are great people. Time to move on.
