Congrats to NewCath sophomore third baseman Loren Zimmerman, in the 2nd inning she deposited a 3-run "laserbeam" over the fence for her 1st career Homerun. :dancingpa

 

Feel bad for her dad who was not able to attend to see it. :(

Don't feel bad for posting! I believe other teams would post if they beat the Breds like that. Might write a book about it on here.

You know how you are watching ESPN and a score scrolls across the bottom of the screen and you say, "What?! Albany beat Duke!!??" Then you realize it was a women's score. That is what happened when I saw this score and thought it was baseball.

This is true, but they are a very young team, but I'm sure Lisa will get them moving in the right direction as the season rolls on. She has done a very good job with the program in her tenure.

Is Anna Shoemake still playing for Scott? She is one of the better all around players in NKY. Last year they just didn't have enough to go with her and she isn't a top pitcher.

Anna is the starting pitcher for Scott , she's doing good. We just have a young team around her. It's gonna take alittle time , they're working their butt's off. Starting off with Conner and NCC didn't help either. Couple more games to get things worked out and they'll be fine.
