Coach Thompson didn't take long to find a new coaching job. He was hired by the College of Mt St Joseph's Football team as Special Teams coach. Also a new hire for the College is another coach with local ties, started at Beechwood back in the day when I went there and then went across the river and became head coach for a couple schools there including Elder. Tom Grippa will be the Offensive Coordinator.

I didn't realize all of that had not been on the site.

Thanks for sharing it HB but it is old news so to speak. Both hires happened awhile ago.

I'm old and slow....didn't see it anywhere so thought I'd share.

Hopefully they can kick start the Lions program. MSJ had a nice run in the mid 2000's but seems have lagged behind TMC lately.
