Best zone running teams in KY

Featured Replies

What schools are the best zone blocking teams in KY. I'm talking inside zone+stretch.

Also which schools run option off of it?

We run it but its still a work in progress. There weren't too many teams in our area that ran a lot of zone blocking schemes that we played against. I would guess Raceland was the best in NEKY for the small schools.

A better question now a days would be who does not run a zone blocking scheme? Highlands is the only team I have seen that runs a man blocking scheme.

Trinity runs alot of wide and tight zone. I also believe Bowling Green runs zone schemes. Both are pretty good football teams. I have a friend who coaches in Indiana and all he runs is Wide and Tight Zone. He doesn't believe in pulling linemen

I disagree but that's another thread. Back to the original question. A lot of people run it but what offensive lines execute it well.
