The Pandas move on to the district final and the regional.

 

Beechwood's young girls team hung in there for a while. I believe it was a 6 point game at halftime. But the Pandas are obviously the much stronger team and they pulled away for the easy win in the second half. Beechwood returns their entire team next year with their leading players freshmen and younger.

Beechwood impressed me this year and I look forward to seeing them regroup and make a serious run next season.

They do appear to have the up coming talent to be competitive if they stick together and keep working. They have to be one of the youngest teams in the area.

Agree the young talent is good, but as you said they have to stay together. Beechwood had Ogle (who then went to play high school at Notre Dame), and then Pawsat (sp) and Jessica Schilling not return to play this year really hurting the Tigers. I thought with Schilling and Pawsat (sp), the Tigers may have made the region this year.

 

All that being said the Panda's are very good and will be tough to knock out of the region.
