I am confused, what two kids playing the point would be better served playing the 2 guard? and why do you say that? IMO Hinkel and Buten are the only two point guards in the program and both have been injured at various times throughout the year.

 

 

Everyone thinks Hinkel is a PG because of his size but he is actually better at the 2 spot because he can shoot well. Witte has played the 2 spot his entire life up until his Jr yr when they moved him to the 4 spot because of his play around the basket.

 

Buten is truly the only real PG in the program right now and he has been hurt. IMO they would have been better served developing Buten as the PG instead of putting someone at a position where they dont thrive. Hinkel has a very good handle and can play the PG spot but that is not truly where he is effective. They are also reducing their ability to score the ball and rebound by putting Witte out there as well.

 

At this point in the season the discussion isnt even worth talking about.

True in the 1st qtr as Lloyd didnt have anyone over 6'2 it seemed.

 

Turner hit some shots in 2nd half.

 

Houliston made all of his FT's.

 

I was surprised Niko Carter didnt show more in this game. He seemed to be content just passing the ball off and not even trying to score the ball. He didnt show much quickness at all. Seems to have packed it in already.

Not in this game and he didnt act like he really wanted to be there to be quite honest. Most surprising thing I noticed all night.
