The Brossart vs Augusta JV and Varsity games scheduled for tonight (Tuesday, February 5th) in Augusta, have been cancelled by mutual agreement of the two teams.

Their is a slim chance the games could be made up next week.

Are either of these teams close to the games limit?

They are both at 25 games played according to the other prediction thread.

It had more to do with Augusta having players playing down in the 39th District Freshmen tournament who were looking at playing multiple days in a row, and Augusta has Montgomery County coming to call on Wednesday. We too have players recovering from illness/injury and need the recovery time.

Brossart is sitting at 25 games played, with 3 remaining on our regular season schedule (Scott, Lloyd, Mason County), and have two make-ups pending (Augusta and Holmes) which would fill out our 30 game schedule if played.

This game was the option game that either of us (Brossart or Augusta) could have cancelled by agreement, should either of us have been over our 30 game limit.
