Apparently you don't understand how the laws work. Local law enforcement is under no obligation to enforce federal laws. Looks at local drug laws and immigration laws just for a current reference. Secondly unless the constitution is ammended I would say the only people popping off are gun control advocates.

There are plenty of liberal state governments that don't follow federal laws and regulations: three states come to mind - CO. CA. WA.

They will just identify you as a member of an 'associated group' and 'imminent threat' since you own a gun. Send down one Hellfire missile - bingo - Federal law enforced. No need for any FBI agents to knock on doors.
