Owls win a big district game in Booneville. The win means that Owsley, Lee, and Estill all have 4-2 records and each have split games with one another this season. Therefore, the seeding for 1-2-3 spots will be determined by a blind draw, I suppose at the district tournament meeting in Irvine.

Wow, sounds very exciting. The whole 56th district tournament should be interesting, each team has a legit should at wining it. Also, kind of surprise to know that Powell Co will be the 4th seed. I didn't expect to hear that coming into this season.

Estill lead just about the entire game, even had a lead around 14 until late when Owsley got back into. Once Owsley took the lead they never looked back. Good game from the Owls.

 

 

56th District Meeting is Monday at 10 AM. 3 names (Estill, Lee, Owsley) will be put in a bowl/hat, whichever one is drawn first will be the 1 seed.
