I know there was a thread last year about JV teams. I dont get to see many of these games but was wondering what teams were good & such. What are some teams that will be making some noise in the next few years??

Knott has a nice J.V. team they had a freshmen class that one og the schools in the county won the 14th regional middle school tournament last year

Lee Co JV is almost all freshmen. They are up and down but have beat some decent teams this year including Knott JV (in ot).

 

Powell has a strong JV but they are all juniors. In fact, I think that on the entire high school team there are only 2 sophomores and the rest are juniors- the juniors have to play jv because there are really no younger players. One of the sophomores starts varsity.

 

I would think that Hazard would have a tough JV and also Perry Central.

Buckhorn's JV is pretty good. They beat PCC in double OT the other night.

Knott has good J.V. with mostly freshmen also ARC so were kinda in the same boat.

BB & ARC you can help: I know lee was beaten by Knott a week or so ago. did their JV's play?? Doesnt really matter but i was just wonder since there isnt JV scores posted anywhere & i was curious.

Lee JV won in OT. Lee varsity lost in OT.

They did beat PCC but PCC didn't play 3 starters in the JV game that normally play the bulk of the minutes.

John Yancy Amis was one of them and Jacob Watts was possibly another, but I'm not sure who the third one was. Deron Scott Amis is currently out with an injury.

Ok. I know the JV really hurt Buckhorn in the varsity game. Blank played most of the JV game and just couldn't get his legs under him to get his shot to go in. However, it was a great night of basketball between the two Perry Co. schools.

What about LCC's JV?? anyone know about them. were the schools combined, i would guess there are some varsity guys from last year playing on their jv. anyone played them??
