Trust me Bill has gave the refs in the 8th the last 10 years alot of grief . I can't see them showing the cards to much love either. I wonder how many teams complain on the homecookin when they lose the close ones at your place. I hear it all the time and I have heard from Hicks. No one likes to lose those kind of games. Why the excuses. Since I watch about 100 games a week. I here it at every level. Its no different than a small kids game. Everyone thinks their team should get every close call as every every fan never looks at the call that they got that should of been the other way around. I am sure if the schools or coaches thought that they were getting the shaft they would not venture down here so much. But they keep coming back because of the competition, the atmosphere and the benifits of a tournament in late January. Whats up Les!

For those of you who saw the E-town/male game. I noticed in the box score that E-town shoots 25 free throws and Male only shoots 8? That is quite a big difference in a 5 pt game? If anyone who was there could provide some information, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was there for both games and the only thing I consistently notice about the officiating is, when there is a three man crew there is always one dominating referee who make over half of the calls. I noticed a few calls that were made against Male where there was no way the referee could see the play. I say that, because they made the call in front of me and there was a referee on the baseline, who never blew his whistle.

 

All in all this is a excellent event .. :thumb:

 

The Sk and Henry Clay game was just a matter of SK making a few mistakes against Henry Clays press late in the game.

 

I look forward to the Male SK game it should be entertaining. The only thing I don't like is that it starts 5:15 this afternoon. :eek: :mad:

Yeah right! If you really want to see home cookin at its best, go to the Hicks Classic. As an outsider with no dog in the fight I have seen some of the worst home cookin ever at the Toyota Classic.

Elizabethtown beats Henry Clay handily. Pettigrew with two nice games thus far, but Atcher has been the scorer. Wins over Male and HC, not too shabby for E-Town. I think the rep. from the 5th is going to have a nice shot this year!

Agreed. Etown/Scott Co. will be one great final.
