CovCath traveled to the land north of the Ohio River and found out that the stripes there don't call fouls on the home team but still came away with a blow out victory 64-49

 

Now I honestly have never been to a HS game where one team had only 1 foul called on them in the entire 1st half and then through the 3rd and most of the fourth quarter only had one more called before in the last 2 minutes the home team was called for their third and final foul of the night, while CovCath had a total of 15 fouls called on them.

 

My only reason for stating this, was I have honestly never seen stripes call so few fouls on one team.

We stopped at Micky "D" near their school and Theoldguy after waiting for the kids to receive their food, which I kid you not took almost 30/45 minutes decided to just wait until I got home to eat, where "The Boss" heated up some of her home made vegetable beef soup. Much, much and I mean much better than anything you could get at Micky "D". :thumb:

JV won by a score of 44-40 behind Schumate 18 and Romes 17.

Frosh won by a score of 47-28 behind Flood 19, and Young 7,

2nd and 3rd quarters must have been a thing of beauty! Thanks for the stats.

 

The other teams JV and Frosh kids who were about the only student body for them were in awe of Ruthsatz. They more than one time jumped up out of their seats with wide eye and hands up in the air asking how did he make that shot, when he made some of his drive shots and long jump shots.

 

One of their fans came up to me as we were leaving and ask "who can't score on you team"? I just smiled!

How about giving some love to Heppler who played a very good game not only with scoring 9 points but played some great "D", as did Tobs and Bo!
