Doc, do you have a connection to Collins?

For some reason I had you as an EKY/NEKY guy.

I played for Roy Lucas Sr and Jerry (Collins Head Coach) was our QB. I remain good friends with Roy Sr, Roy II and Jerry. Almost like family.

Gotcha.

You're correct. I am the team doctor for Raceland in NEKY.

Looks very good for a sophomore. I am sure he will gain leg strength as he matures. I saw two kickers in N. Ky. last year that had more leg strength than what I saw on this clip - Joey Nussbaum of Beechwood and Evan Talkers of Cov Cath. I saw Nussbaum more than once put a kickoff out the back of the end zone with hang time. But this kid is just a sophomore so I am sure he will be able to do the same by the time he is a senior.

Blanton has been invited to the National Kicking Camp in Las Vegas May 4-5. He was named one of the 2015 standouts at the Chris Sailer Kicking Nike Spring Camp in Atlanta. He should only continue to improve as he gets bigger and stronger.
