My husband, Daughter, Son in law and children and I will all leave Dallas today to head to San Antonio for sight seeing and the game. Bob Beaty is head coach of the East, James Quick and Jason Hatcher are on the team and my son is one of the coaches. My freshman grandson is looking forward to autograghs and watching the combine. The Game is Sat , Jan 5th at noon in the Alomodome.

Big day for the Shamrocks. The East squad, coached by Bob Beatty and Andrew Coverdale wins, James Quick scores the winning touchdown and is named MVP and Pete Dawkins, while giving James the MVP trophy, mentions that his grandson is going to Trinity. Not bad.

We have had a great week. The ArmyStrong zone was really interesting. Spent almost 4 hours there on Friday. Lots of things for the kids to try out. It has been very cold and damp. That's my only complaint. The game was fun, but man, do I hate TV timeouts. No flow to the game the first half at all. J Q and Hatcher both did Kentucky proud. So did the coaches.
