Lady Engineers are 8 time defending district champions, 2005-2012. 2005 they were in 39th distirct/10th region. Since coming to the 56th district/14th region the Lady Engineers are 58-1 in district play and 80-3 in region. Lady Engineers return most of the talent from last year's team including star pitcher Michaela Gross and Jenna Edwards. I would suspect Lady Engineers to be preseason #1 in region and they should be the easy favorite for districts, yet again. If what I hear is true this could be the last stint Coach Beard has at Estill as I hear she is gonna retire but that's just hearsay.

Region Record wise I do think so. Those losses were recently Estill went from nearly 5 years without a region loss since coming to the 14th region

The Leslie County game on April 27 is actually a triangle @ East Ridge. Estill will play East Ridge at 1 and Leslie County at 2:30/2:45

Jenkins broke through and won the region once, but for the most part no one in the 14th has been able to derail the Engineers (pardon the pun) since they bcame a member of the region in the 2005-06 SY.
