Final from Georgetown. No details other than the final. If anyone finds anything before I do, feel free to post.

 

Scott County is now 6-1 and HC is 3-3.

HC played well. Down 10 at half. Was a 7 point game with 50 seconds to go in 1st half. HC had the ball and had a 5 second call. Scott County hit a 3 at the buzzer, basically a 5 point swing. Scott County came out in the 2nd half and hit a few quick buckets, HC had a few turnovwers and that was basically it. HC couldn't climb back in. Scotts back court, #10 and #12 Gilbert scored 43 points. Great tandum, hit a bunch of 3s. The 18 point loss was not indicative of how they played. My opinion 10 points is all oit should have been. Campbell had 18 at half and finished with 23, played well. Think he hit 4 3s. M McClenden and Gabbard had 16 and 11 respectively, Tiberi 7 and C McClenden 5, Pouncy 3, Knockleman 3. I think I am close on the scoring.

Holy Cross had atleast 30 turnovers.With 2/3 being unforced.That pretty much sums the game up.

Anyone know the scoring leaders for Scott County in this game ?

Dont know names but the PG i think number 10 had atleast 28.Mostly wide open layups.There big guy had nothing for Campbell i think he might have had 5 points.

Quin Richardson (10) had 25 points on 10 of 15, including 3 threes (obviously not all lay ups ... In fact most other points were mid range jumpers). Trent Gilbert had 20 and Jalen Haddix added 16. Campbell was the best player on the floor. Too unselfish for my taste - 23 on 11 shots including 4-4 on threes.

Mid range jumpers i would consider being more than 2ft from the rim.

Yeah Holy Cross made no adjustments in the game.Coach Hicks clearly made the correct moves and Geotz made none as usual.
