Agreed! On Friday night there were a ton of kids but few Alums and adult fans but the next night a ton of Alums and adult fans but few kids.

Clyde, would like your take on the officiating tonight, Coach Kremer was none to pleased with some of the calls going against his squad. I thought a call or two against Davenport for walking were suspect, especially the one were he made an outstanding spin move and took a dribble to the rack.

 

Agree on the spin move that was called a travel.

 

I thought overall it was a solidly called game. One official is notorious for calling what most would consider nitpick fouls. I had a bigger program with some of the foul calls than the travel call.

 

There was one call that a lot of CCH fans questioned on a call by Tim O'Hara. I couldn't tell as it was opposite end opposite side. Since it's Tim I'll say I'd need to see film before I say it was wrong.

 

If there's a big game he's the first one I call to do the game.

I'm a big fan of Grant Romes' attacking offensive game. He is really going to help CCH the next two years.

 

I think #21 for CCH has some potential as well. Really skinny now and can be overmatched physically but he's strong at getting to the rim. If he grows into his arms he'll be 6'3 or so.

10th grader. Was the starting PG for the CovCath Frosh Championship team that went 26-2 last year!

 

The JV team is without Noah Galvin who is out with a foot injury but should be back in a week or so! The big question when Will Heppler comes back, which he too should in a week or so, does he play JV or Frosh?

If I recall correctly Galvin likes to play up tempo which fits into the CCH style of play. I have heard that Galvin may get his release on Monday and Heppler on Friday. Heppler has been doing some rehab and Galvin will most likely get a few days of rehab. The JV teams needs a lot of help. I was at the game against St Henry and it was painful to watch.

Would agree, this kid is not afraid to penetrate, but lord have mercy he was on the floor more than on his feet when he would drive to the basket! :eek:
