Good start for the Defenders. Morton and Washington are their best players.

 

Pulaski has some work to do. With their schedule they will take some lumps early if all three studs aren't clicking. Those three will have to do all of the heavy lifting just like last year.

He was listed in the preview specifically that Coach Mike Allen expected him to play. He did to start last night, but is obviously a key if Bryan Station will be successful. It's up for a debate whether he is a top 10 player in the region.

Yeah, Morton didn't start but he made a huge difference as soon as he hit the floor. I'll be keeping an eye on Station. I think they were fortunate Pulaski couldn't hit the broad side of a barn last night. Station shot the ball at will and without conscious. Pulaski was missing everything which stifled their shot to get back in the game. I'd love to see stats as I wouldn't be surprised if Pulaski out rebounded Station. They had to have shot less than 40%. I'm not sure what Station shot but they love to shoot the ball. That may hurt them against some better teams but it is really fun to watch.
