Basketball season for 2012-2013 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Beechwood? Remember, please be constructive.

BW will have plenty of size on the front line, if they get good play out of their guards they should have a pretty good season. Play in a difficult conference so winning that is out of the question IMO, could see them winning 12-15 games though.

Heard a rumor that a couple of their players chose not to return. Any truth to that? I thought they would have a great season if everyone was back.

I was very impressed with the play of Emily Pawsat last year. She does a great job running the show for the Beechwood team. Good handles, nice jump shot and has the ability to get to the rim.

I believe that was one of the names I heard didn't return! Is that true? It would be a shame, I too thought she was a nice player.

I understand that Emily is not playing this year - not sure why. Several girls are not playing hoops so they can focus on softball. I don't believe there are any seniors playing at Beechwood this year, should have had at least 3. Very promising 8th and 9th graders look to get playing time, but so young! Good Luck to them!
