Dakari Johnson

Featured Replies

Dakari Johnson, formerly of Sayre High School in Lexington, has reclassified to 2013.

Scout.com: Dakari Johnson

He did not go to Sayre in high school, only middle school. If all the kids that went to Sayre in middle school stayed there they would be a favorite in the 11th - Dakari Johnson, Jordan Green, Christen Cunningham and Mike Smith.

Wow... didn't realize how stacked Sayre could have been.

Knew that Dakari played varsity there as an 8th grader, but I can see how the language of my post was misleading.

I forgot this kid left KY.

That certainly adds some interest to the UK aspect of it.

True, but he is from New York. He moved there in 4th or 5th grade and was only here for a few years. He played AAU in the summer in KY (I heard that was a big reason he moved here in the first place), but played back with the NY Gauchos the last few summers he was in KY.

Been keeping up with this kid for awhile now. Will be interesting to see if he comes back to KY.
