A few names that I am very surprised are no longer playing who were very good as Freshman are Norton-Brossart and Maines- Conner. I know Norton is focusing on baseball as that is likely how he will play in college. Maines is also a fine baseball player but I may be wrong but thought I read on here where he was cut this year.

So why did the 4 guys you pointed out that played fall sports not play basketball? I have been told by several people that Mike Listerman did not go for it and that Ruthsatz is pretty much the same way. Is that accurate?

 

Three to concentrate on other sports alone and the other was the last cut in his 10th grade year. No problem that I am aware of with the coaches, in fact Coach Krumps was disappointed that Bir didn't play baseball last year but football is his game!

Correct on Maines. He was cut from the team as a junior and again this year as a senior. Austin Price, who quit last year late in the season and is also a senior, tried out but did not make the team this year either. Conner's lone seniors are Brady Padgett and Sam Riddle, who have both played all 4 years.

Scott is an impressive band of brothers with 7 guys together since frosh year.

 

Actually they have 9. Haydon Graziani and Collin Myers were on that Fr. team too. Both got varsity minutes last year as Jr's.
